We are accepting new clients!
Mental health care that sees the whole person.
At Mind Associates, we believe meaningful mental health care begins with seeing you as a whole person—not simply a diagnosis or a set of symptoms.
We are a social justice–oriented psychotherapy collective committed to providing accessible, inclusive, and compassionate mental health care. Our clinicians bring different professional backgrounds, lived experiences, perspectives, and areas of expertise while sharing a commitment to collaborative and client-centered care.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, cultural transitions, or simply looking for a space to better understand yourself, you don't have to navigate it alone.
Mind X Associates is more than a traditional group practice.
Our clinicians operate as a collective, with a voice in how our organization is run. This horizontal structure allows us to value both the people who seek our services and the clinicians who provide them.
We believe that when clinicians have opportunities for collaboration, professional growth, and community, they are better positioned to provide thoughtful and meaningful care to their clients.
Our work is grounded in equity, inclusivity, compassion, autonomy, and social justice.
We recognize that mental health is shaped by interconnected psychological, relational, social, cultural, and environmental factors. Our clinicians consider these contexts while working collaboratively with each client to develop an approach that reflects their individual needs, strengths, values, and goals.
Mind X Associates provides psychotherapy and professional mental health services for individuals, as well as supervision, consultation, training, and community opportunities for mental health professionals.
We do not believe your therapist should simply tell you what to do.
Our clinicians work with you to understand your experiences, identify what matters to you, and develop approaches that support your goals.
Your mental health does not exist in a vacuum.
Culture, identity, family, relationships, work, community, and broader social and environmental conditions can all influence how you experience the world.
We take these contexts seriously.
We believe every person has inherent worth, dignity, and strengths.
Psychotherapy is not simply about fixing what is “wrong.” It can also be an opportunity to recognize your existing strengths, develop new possibilities, and build a life that is more aligned with what matters to you.
Mental health care continues to evolve.
Our clinicians value ongoing education, professional development, and collaboration so that we can continue learning and bringing thoughtful, evidence-informed practices into our work.
We are a group of experienced and licensed psychotherapists and all participate in frequent post-graduate training. As colleagues, we treasure the opportunity to work with each other and with our clients. The atmosphere of healing and care at Mind X Associates is fed by our commitment to our personal and community growth.
Mind X Associates provides online psychotherapy to clients located in Texas, Washington, Colorado, New Jersey, New York, Washington, D.C., Florida, Indiana, and Wisconsin, subject to each clinician’s current licensure and availability. Because clinicians are licensed by state, your physical location at the time of a telehealth session determines whether a particular clinician can provide services to you.
Finding the right therapist involves more than matching a diagnosis or concern. Mind X Associates offers a diverse collective of clinicians with different professional backgrounds, areas of expertise, cultural perspectives, and therapeutic approaches. You can explore individual clinician profiles to find someone whose experience and approach align with what you are looking for.
Yes. Mind X Associates takes a culturally responsive and social justice–oriented approach to mental health care. Our clinicians recognize that mental health is shaped not only by individual experiences, but also by culture, identity, relationships, family systems, social environments, and broader systems of power and inequality.
Yes. Mind X Associates includes bilingual clinicians who provide services in English and Mandarin Chinese. Availability depends on the clinician, your location, and the type of support you are seeking.
Yes. With telehealth, your therapist does not necessarily need to be physically located in the same state as you. What matters is that the clinician is authorized to provide services in the state where you are physically located when the session takes place. Availability therefore depends on both your location and the clinician’s current licensure.
Mind X Associates is a psychotherapy collective rather than a conventional top-down group practice. Our model emphasizes clinician autonomy, collaboration, professional community, and socially conscious mental health care. The collective brings together clinicians with different perspectives and areas of expertise while maintaining a shared commitment to accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive care.
Absolutely. You do not need to know which type of therapist or treatment approach is right for you before reaching out. We can help you identify potential clinicians based on your concerns, location, preferences, and the type of support you are seeking.
